The Research in Engineering Education Network (REEN) is pleased to invite you and your community to participate in the REEN 2026 Virtual Forum, on November 13, 2026, hosted by the Department of Engineering Education at Virginia Tech.
REEN is a community of scholars interested in advancing the field of Engineering Education Research globally. The REEN Virtual Forum provides a free, equitable and sustainable platform to strengthen the global Engineering Education Research community. The forum will include:
● Plenary talks led by global scholars,
● Participant-driven workshops, and
● Collaboration spaces moderated by REEN partners.
The forum will take place in three 2.5-hour sessions throughout the day, with sessions beginning at 8:00 AM, 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM EST (UTC-5). Each session will begin with a plenary talk and plenary discussion, followed by breakout into collaboration spaces.
The forum will provide opportunities for scholars to connect across institutions and borders. Participants can contribute to shaping the Virtual Forum by facilitating workshops (in English, Spanish, French or Portuguese), by submitting a Work-in-Progress abstract, and by mentoring newcomers.
