Diana Bairaktarova (Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University) and Inês Direito (University College London) are delighted to launch their global “Caring for the Future: Empathy in Engineering Education” project, aiming to create a community of educators and researchers who are passionate about educating the next generation of engineers: Engineers, who are globally aware professionals and who have the capacity to broaden their concerns and empathise with others in an increasingly divided and unstable world.

The session will be recorded and made available to colleagues who are not able to attend. The monthly webinar time is not fixed as we plan to accommodate presenters and audiences from around the globe. The webinar on February 22nd is honouring our presenter Nicki who will be joining live from Australia. Future webinars will showcase the work and research interests of colleagues with diverse disciplinary backgrounds.
