Diana Bairaktarova (Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University) and Inês Direito (University College London) are delighted to launch their global Caring for the Future: Empathy in Engineering Education project, aiming to create a community of educators and researchers who are passionate about educating the next generation of engineers: Engineers, who are globally aware professionals and who have the capacity to broaden their concerns and empathise with others in an increasingly divided and unstable world.

Inaugural Event: Wednesday 22 February at 15:30 EST/20:30 GMT

Presenter: Nicki Sochacka “Reflections on a decade of studying and teaching empathy in STEM education”

The session will be recorded and made available to colleagues who are not able to attend. The monthly webinar time is not fixed as we plan to accommodate presenters and audiences from around the globe.
