Workshop: Educating engineers for 21st century contexts
1 June 2018 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
We invite you to join the growing community of engineering educators
‘Engineering-in-context’ (EiC) is the creation of a learning environment that simulates professional practice and develops professional engineering competence and employability amongst students. EiC is strongly aligned with a pedagogy of employability, and designed to enable deeper levels of learning. EiC is motivated by factors such as:
- Students are co-producers of their own learning
- Students enjoy project & enquiry-based approaches
- Students become creative and have fun
Join us to learn about collaborative approaches which are not staff labour intensive and make teaching fun!
