There exists a growing, but in some ways still only loosely connected, body of researchers in engineering education in our part of the world. We have invited 2 keynote speakers to help set the tone for the day: Prof. Bill Williams (Emeritus Professor Barreiro School of Technology of Setúbal Polytechnic Institute in Portugal) and Prof. Jenni Case (Virginia Tech). Bill’s work on the bibliometric tracing of EER communities in Europe and the US, and Jenni’s familiarity with the local research landscape will provide the backdrop to our exploration of how we can contribute globally to EER conversations as we act locally in our own context.
We would like to use the colloquium to actively look for ways in which we can build community and strengthen collaborations and networks – please feel free to disseminate to your contacts and collaborators in EER.
